Gym80 customized gym equipment
Gym80 currently sit at the apex of the gym equipment market with their unashamedly high prices reflecting a premium brand positioning, a German manufacturing quality guarantee and a variety of customization options ensuring the machines can be aesthetically adapted to each gym’s interior design, branding and colour preferences.
This is a weight lifting and strength training brand, pure and simple. As such their product range covers free weight, plate-loaded and selectorized weight machines with customization options for the upholstery, stitching, and frames.
A total of 18 standard colors in high-quality leatherette are available for their SYGNUM, PURE KRAFT, 80CLASSICS, and 80ATHLETICS gym machines with colours as diverse as agave, avocado, beige, granite, fire, black, brown, lime and more.
White, silver, two different blacks and anthracite are the standard frame colours for their gym equipment, with an extended range going well beyond that for anyone looking for more personality and style. Additionally, the weight stack cover can be customized upon request.

Watson custom gym equipment design
UK-based Watson have been going from strength to strength as gym equipment manufacturers in recent years. We have visited their factory, met their team, tested and purchased their products and can find no fault in their quality or design, these are supremely well made products for any premium home gym or hotel gym design for example.
The Watson stainless steel dumbbell sets have endplates that can be engraved with a gym’s logo in two colours while the strength machine frames are available in six different colour options as standard, including a ‘clear cote’ option for something a little different.
Upholstery colours include black, orange, red, blue, champagne, chocolate as standard (many more are available as an additional upgrade), with plenty of colours available for the upholstery stitching as well.
The end result is a satisfying range of premium colour options, including our own favourite of the vintage tan leather with Bentley cross-stitching in contrasting white on a white frame.
Hammer strength gym equipment design
Hammer Strength lives within the LifeFitness stable of brands and divides its gym equipment into six main categories: sectors, plate loaded, banks, racks, rigs, cable motion, with everything else within the accessories bucket.
Logo in combination with color customization is available for the following equipment lines: urethane bumpers, HD elite rack signs, and HD athletic signs.
The following lines only have the customizable logo option: 12-sided dumbbells, plates and barbells, as well as the wooden lifting platforms.
Lastly, the following only have customizable color options: HD elite Racks, HD Athletic products, Plate loaded, Jammer, Select, MTS, Benches and Racks, and Armored cerokote bars.
Troy custom gym equipment design
Houston, Texas based Troy specializes in dumbbells, barbells, and plates. These are self-described premium institutional and commercial grade free-weight products.
Options here centre around adding a custom logo to the equipment, including complex artwork in multiple colours. The laser-cut branding ensures a high-quality design that has met the approval of brands such as the UFC gym, UnderArmour, the Nets, Anytime Fitness, and Virginia Tech.
Life Fitness - custom gym equipment design
Colour options range from the classics of red, blue, white, black and various dark greys but extend into the likes of Mocha Sand, Platinum, Yellow, Candy Apple Red and electric Blue.
Upholstery meanwhile is available in no fewer than 19 different colour options, from Terra Cotta to Emerald Green, making this one of the most impressive custom gym equipment solutions out there for mainstream gyms. A brand like Gym80 are catering to a very different market.
The intent clearly is to allow sports teams, college teams and even corporate brands to match their equipment to the facility colour scheme.
